Legacy: It’s all God’s

It’s a bit of a lost in translation moment when English doesn’t show the beauty of the original language.

But there is a phrase we have chatted about and referred to for years which is inspiring, challenging and helps us to reshape how we are doing things.

 We’ve done our best to encapsulated the heart behind @nandoesnotes dads saying into some of our latest range and to try and do justice to this powerful statement which for me is a legacy statement just like my pa's "choose love & love your choice is" but more in that later.

In Sinhalese there is a saying which Nando grew up hearing which roughly translates to …

• There is no I
• There is no me
• There is no mine

 With the concluding statement being ‘everything is God’s’ ~ every single part of our lives, goals, dreams and hearts desires.

Matt 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

It’s often been a phrase dropped into conversation as we’ve brainstormed and chatted about things over the last few years. It’s a little reminder to place Christ at the centre of everything. It’s been an inspiration to us and we hope it is to you as well.
